ALL WELLNESS PACKAGES INCLUDE:
Health and medical evaluations and assessments are performed by our highly trained, licensed specialty medical physician. Wellness, fitness, pain, and other conditions are assessed and tailored to the patient’s health goals. A personalized, comprehensive care plan is developed and reviewed for the patient’s wellness journey.
Nutritional evaluation is a vital component of the wellness journey. Deficits or excesses of nutrients in the body can hinder progress toward wellness and contribute to conditions such as pain, fatigue, brain fog, and more. Evaluation and assessment of nutritional status are performed using standard and specialty labs or home kits to collect samples. Collaboration with nutritionists and dieticians is encouraged.
Mind-body techniques integrate a whole-person approach into the wellness journey. Mindfulness skills are taught and developed, including mindfulness sitting, walking, and slower-paced practices like yoga, tai chi, and/or qigong, which are offered for review.
OPTIONAL SERVICES:
Injection therapy is offered through both conventional and cutting-edge techniques. Diagnostic and interventional ultrasound exams can be performed. Conventional approaches include anesthetic pain injections for joints, muscles, nerves, tendons, and ligaments; viscosupplementation for osteoarthritic joints; headache and migraine treatments; dry needling; and trigger point injections. Cutting-edge, alternative, and complementary techniques include orthobiologics, specifically prolotherapy.
Genomics assessments through lab tests provide advanced medical-genomics and nutrigenomics reports on SNPs, offering scientific insights to help clinicians assist patients. For more resistant conditions, intensive evaluations may be required through genomic lab testing. These results will be assessed and reviewed over several appointments due to the comprehensive nature of these advanced tests.
Acupuncture is one of several health interventions rooted in ancient healing methods, originally from Traditional Chinese Medicine, and expanded to Japan, Europe, and other countries. It involves applying thin needles, small band-aid-like needles, and/or natural seeds to specific points on the body, which may be on the scalp, ear, face, back, trunk, and/or limbs, depending on the condition. Evidence-based research has shown that acupuncture can help reduce symptoms of pain, fatigue, addiction, headaches, stress, and various other conditions. We use single-use, disposable sterile needles and natural seeds for patient comfort and safety.
Electroacupuncture is a form of acupuncture in which a small electric current is passed between pairs of acupuncture needles. This technique enhances stimulation during treatment and is particularly effective for pain and neurological concerns.
Acupressure is a needle-free technique that uses manual pressure or natural seeds to stimulate acupuncture points.
Microcurrent Therapy is a form of energy medicine used to alleviate symptoms related to pain, headaches, dysthymia, and other physical and mood conditions. This electrical stimulation technique can be used alone or in conjunction with acupuncture and other treatments. Collaboration with behavioral health specialists is encouraged for mood-related conditions. Frequency-specific microcurrent and Alpha-Stim devices are utilized.
Cupping is a gentle technique that originated in Traditional Chinese Medicine and other cultures. It involves using negative pressure to create suction on the skin and can be used for various conditions, including sports injuries, pain, inflammation, and general wellness.
Group Visits are designed to provide current scientific knowledge in simplified, understandable pieces. Patients are invited to suggest topics.
